For or Against?

He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters."

Matthew 12:30

According to the world, there are three ways to believe about God. You are either a believer, an atheist (unbeliever), or an agnostic (undecided one way or the other). You'll find the term agnostic in the dictionary, but you won't find it in the Bible. Jesus says there are two options, not three. He has drawn a clear line in the sand, and we choose one side or the other. According to Jesus, whoever does not stand with him is automatically against him. There is no middle ground.

Some people prefer to remain neutral when in comes to Christ. They don't want to come right out and reject Jesus, but they're not quite willing to accept him either. They pick and choose what they will believe about God and what they will obey from his Word. They choose to live a good life, at least by worldly standards, but they don't want to get "bogged down" by Christianity. Such people are deceived. Jesus said that in not choosing, they have made their choice.

If you are not for Christ, you are against Him. If you've considered yourself in the neutral zone when it comes to trusting God, understand that you've actually been Christ's enemy. God has given you all the information you need to make your choice for him. Choose now - before it's too late - to live for Christ
